As part of a family-owned business and driven by our desire to establish Casa dell’Eleganza Event Hall and Hotel 4* as a modern destination for corporate and family events, relaxation, and leisure, while meeting the needs of current generations with consideration for future ones, we have always embraced the concept of sustainable development and progress.

Our mission is to provide you with a unique and exciting holiday experience while ensuring the sustainable use of local natural resources (mineral water, лечебна кал, etc.), building upon the traditions of the local community and culture, and utilizing innovative processes to preserve the surrounding environment. We believe that our current management decisions guarantee social responsibility and environmental protection.

Goals

Recognizing our responsibility to nature and future generations, our goals are:

• To implement as many sustainable development practices as possible within our hotel.
• To promote these practices among our guests and encourage their active participation.
• To monitor and ensure compliance with sustainable best practices.

To achieve these goals, we have established systems in the following areas:

Energy

• A large portion of the hotel’s heating and cooling energy comes from our own energy sources (solar panels and a smart system for energy use and redistribution).
• The heating of mineral water in our pools is largely powered by our own energy production.
• We have implemented separate heating and cooling systems for different areas of the hotel, both horizontally and vertically.
• All light bulbs in the hotel are energy-efficient.
• Our exterior façade lighting is coordinated to switch on and off automatically according to daylight and nighttime conditions.
• We have introduced an automatic electricity shut-off system using access wristbands in unoccupied rooms.
• Annual maintenance of all electrical appliances is carried out to ensure maximum efficiency.
• During periods of low occupancy, certain parts of the hotel are not heated or illuminated. A time-based operating system is in place for equipment in the thermal zone (saunas and steam bath).

Waste and Recycling

• Separate waste collection.
• Recycling of used kitchen oils and fats.
• Replacing printed paper materials with digital alternatives.

Water

• Optimization of towel and bed linen laundry processes.
• Installation of faucets and showers with aerators.
• Daily monitoring of all systems – pools, showers, faucets, and water meters – to detect leaks and prevent water loss.
• Optimization of washing machines and dishwashers operations.
• A system for refilling indoor and outdoor pools with mineral water according to hotel occupancy.

Responsible Consumption

• We operate our own farm for meat products and encourage the use of products from local producers.
• Development of a responsible purchasing policy.
• Use of certified products.

Guest Contribution

• We encourage sustainable practices through innovative digital materials, AI-powered consultants, and QR codes.
• We create corporate programs focused on the sustainable use of natural resources.
• We give guests the option to choose whether their towels should be changed daily.
• We advise guests to consume food from our buffets in moderation to reduce food waste.
• We provide opportunities for sustainable transportation by carrying out transfers with electric vehicles.

Over the past 4 years, we have succeeded in:

• Reducing our electricity and water consumption.
• Building additional solar systems for water heating.
• Landscaping and improving the areas outside the hotel and between the hotel and the beach with plants.
• Entering the “Green Key” certification procedure.
